As an architectural practice we are very likely to be processing personal data as part of project work. Examples of such personal data may include:

  • On drawings (physical and PDF/other digital media)

  • In models on common data environments/clouds

If you are an employee, worker or other member of our staff, we may collect additional categories of your personal data from you for the purposes of providing you with the necessary benefits under our contract with you.

We consider that all categories of personal data we obtain are proportionate and relevant to the purposes for which they are obtained. However, we review this intermittently and remove any inaccurate or obsolete data.

How it is collected

Your personal data is primarily provided to us when you correspond with us by phone or e-mail as part of our business with you. Any of your personal data contained in that correspondence will be retained by us.

Where we store your Personal Data

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers or on secure servers operated by a third party. The information that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), in which case we will make sure that your privacy rights are protected as required by the Data Protection Act.

By providing us with your personal data, you agree to this storing and/or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Unfortunately, the transmission of data and information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

We will not store your data for any longer than is necessary.
